The Finnish company Fortum Environmental construction has started the sample taking at the Krasny Bor landfill. Fortum is taking samples from the open lagoons at the landfill this week, which will then be transported to the laboratory in Riihimäki, Finland, for analysis.
NEFCO has signed agreements with 11 Nordic small and medium-sized enterprises for the co-financing of feasibility studies aimed at internationalisation. The projects approved will receive a total of EUR 350,000 in funding.
NEFCO has signed loan agreements with seven Ukrainian cities, Balakliya, Bila Tserkva, Baranivka, Chortkiv, Kamianske, Pokrov and Pryluki, to implement energy-saving measures. The signed agreements total EUR 2.36 million.
Norway decided at the end of last year to contribute an additional NOK 37 million, approx. EUR 3.8 million, for new projects to be financed in 2018.
The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and NEFCO have today signed a loan agreement totalling EUR 30 million. The loan to NEFCO will be used for the newly agreed investment in higher education institutions in Ukraine.
The Board of Directors has approved three new projects that were also approved at the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) Assembly of Contributors in London in the beginning of December.
